Hi Michelle,
Here is my rebuttal to your
response on "Why I Shot an Abortionist" by Paul Hill. I dare you to
print this along with the others on your website.
=)
>>>First of all, one the 10 commandments: DO NOT MURDER. No
exemptions!<<<
Two things:
1)
I don't recall "no exemptions" as being part of the commandment. Chapter
and verse?
2) The Israelites had a strict capital punishment law
that involved the death of certain people. This did not contradict the
6th commandment.
Our conclusion: there are exceptions to the
rule.
>>>Has
this guy EVER heard that violence is not the answer? Violence is NOT going to
make it better!<<<
This is what modern
humanism teaches, but do you have any Biblical evidence for this? In
light of the multitude of instances where God approves of and orders bloodshed
or war, I beg to differ.
No, violence is not the answer in all
cases, but you cannot rightly say that it is not the answer
ever.
>>>Murder
is murder, and God, the one who saves us all for a life a in hell would NOT
encourage us to kill!<<<
Ezekiel
9:
4. And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the
city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the
men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst
thereof.
5. And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye
after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye
pity:
6. Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little
children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and
begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before
the house.
7. And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill
the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the
city.
You have now lost the argument that God would never encourage or
command someone to 'slay' another.
>>>>He says that just because the
abortionist arrived before the police that it was a sign from God! Ha!! That
is the stupidest thing I ever heard!<<<<
I beg to differ.
Proverbs 4:
11 I guide you in
the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths.
12 When you
walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble.
When the Lord commands that we go in a certain path, He makes it
possible to complete the mission.
<<<but the truck did not want to turn around; it
had to be forced.">>>
>>>NOW THAT IS A SIGN FROM GOD! A
SIGN THAT SAYS YOU ARE MAKING A BIG MISTAKE, GO
HOME!<<<
Colossians 3:15 And let the
peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to the which also ye were called in one
body; and be ye thankful.
Throughout the letter, we see the peace of
Christ ruling his heart. Though it was hard, and though there was much
trial and temptation to disobey, he pulled through and completed his
mission.
>>>Talk about ironic! He was driving by, an idea of a police
car popped in his head, and a few second later, one drives by! Then he can't
turn his car around! That's what a sign from God is!
<<<
You got that a little mixed up....read
the letter again. =)
>>>>What a horrible father this man really is!
What a disgusting role model! He should have done the RIGHT thing, for his
kids.<<<<
He did do the RIGHT thing, in
trusting God to take care of his family. When we lose our lives in
obedience to God, he will take care of the consequences.
>>>If only
he knew the truth, (the truth would set him free, Matt
7:14).<<<
What makes you think that he is
not free?
>>>Almost sure he'd be removed from his family? Even if they
were allowed visiting time or something to that effect, how many of you would
want to visit your dad in a state prison after he's taken the life of
someone??<<<<
I would not only visit
him, but I would spread his testimony wide and far, and I would also be proud
of him.
>>>So personally, I don't think his kids really care for him
much now. If they are young kids, he's drilling into their minds that killing
someone is okay.<<<
His kids were about
13, 6, and 3 at the time. The one should be about 17 by now... I wonder
if we could get ahold of them somehow..
>>>The reward: He killed a man, this man's family
is in deep pain, his family is also in a confused
state<<<
How do you know they are in deep
pain and confused? Give me a break. His reward is eternal, not
temporal where moths and rust can destroy!
>>>>"Obedience was the only option."
Obedience is to follow God's will. Please remember people, God would NEVER
EVER harm you nor forsake you. This was not an act of obedience, but of sin
and deceivment!<<<<
God did not harm or
forsake Paul Hill. His peace and joy continues with him.
Has God ever told you to do something that you don't want to do?
Temptation came to back out. Temptation came to follow the flesh, didn't
it. It is no different in this case. Just because Satan wants you
to disobey and back out does not mean it is not God's will -- quite the
contrary.
>>>"As
I stood awaiting the abortionist's arrival, I was struggling in fervent prayer
to maintain my resolution of heart." Of heart? God tells us to have a loving
heart. A caring and compassionate heart! This man has no
heart!<<<
A caring and compassion heart
for the preborn that would be cut up, piece by piece that day.
For the preborn that would be burned to death by the saline
solution.
For the children who would be sucked out of the uterus,
piece by piece, by a vacuum many times more powerful than an ordinary
household vacuum.
I tell you, he had the love and compassion to lay
down his own life, the future well-being of his family, and all else, for
these children.
>>>"The faint of heart and those not firmly grounded in the
truth could stumble under such a load." WRONG
AGAIN!<<<
Maybe you were never in that
type of a situation, but I have been. There have been times when God
told me to do something, and I fell under the temptation to disobey.
There have been times when I was not firmly grounded in the truth, and was too
faint of heart, to stand under the load.
>>>It makes NO difference who this
guy was or what he did, he should not have been
killed.<<<<
Exodus 21:12. He that
smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death.
Tell me...
do you believe God's Word is for today?
>>>>"He is moving people to uphold the duty to
defend life so this duty will be recognized throughout the world." Referring
to Christ, he is saying that He will show people to defiant life around the
world! Ha! The murderer talks about upholding the duty to defend life! What a
hypocrite!<<<<
1) He did not
murder.
2) Check out Psalm 149
Psalm
149:
5. Let the saints be joyful in glory: let
them sing aloud upon their beds.
6. Let the high praises of God
be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their
hand;
7. To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and
punishments upon the people;
8. To bind their kings
with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9. To
execute upon them the judgment written: this honor have all his
saints. Praise ye the Lord
He was encouraging men to do what the
founders of this country did. Defy the heathen governments, and uphold
the rights to life and freedom. This freedom has now been taken away for
the most part, and most people don't realize it.
>>>He gives Christians a bad name.
Hypocrite!<<<
Who gives Christians a bad
name?
a) Those who uphold justice and defend the
helpless.
b) Those who are too wimpy to face the facts that it should
be done.
Isaiah 1:17. Learn to do well; seek judgment,
relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the
widow.
How can Christians relieve the most oppressed group of
people in this nation? The courts aren't working. The government
isn't doing it. Who's job is it??
"This honor have all His
saints. Praise ye the
Lord."
