Helping Others
I know I am not suppose to tell people about this so I will only tell you. I told you the otherday that God would give me a chance soon to help a stranger. Today He did. She was nicely dressed and had on a fanny pack. She was probably sixty or so. I had stopped on my way to work to get gas and she was going through all the trash cans at the station gathering aluminum cans. I watched her as she went to the pay phones and checked each coin return. She than checked all the news paper stands looking for change that might have been left behind. She than started on down the road checking every trash can she passed taking the aluminum cans she found and putting them in her plastic bag. After I finished pumping my gas I ran my car through the stations car wash. while I was doing this I realized what God wanted me to do. When I left the station I thought she was gone. I looked around and didn't see her. Just as I started to leave I saw her cross the road a ways down so I turned and went that way. She was checking trash cans at a strip center when I pulled up. I rolled down my window and said "excuse me lady, but do you believe Jesus Christ is our savior?" She said "yes I do". So I said "well, he told me to give you something today and that you needed it". When I reached in my pocket, I saw a scared look come across her face. She must have thought I was going to do something bad. When I pulled out a twenty dollar bill and handed it to her, her face lit up. She smiled and said "God bless you, God bless you so much". I told her "He already has" and drove away.
