~*~ Even before a word is said oh lord you know it completely ~*~
After learning that my friend had bone cancer, I knew our vistits together would be few. As I planned each six hour trip to see her, I struglled to think of words I could use to express how much I cared for her and how much she meant to me. I thought if I could find a few those special words I could keep her here forever. But as i sat by her hospital bed it seemed all teh important words just left. It seemed like just our being together was an important connection for both of us. No special words were necessary; she will always know how I feel about her.

I would like to live my life with god that way, could we grow so close to God that words become unnecessary? Reading God's word of love for us and spending time in God's presence can build a relationship like that. Simply being with God is enough to assure us of so close a connection that nothing can ever break it.
*Prayer*: Thank you, God, that we need no special words, places, or times to be in your presence. Thank you for the love that binds us to eachother and to you. Amen
